First sign-in

Sign in with the identity provider's administrator account, enrol the second factor, then create your team's accounts.

Sign in

  1. Open https://<your domain> (the value of AARVIEW_DOMAIN).
  2. Sign in as akadmin, with the password AUTHENTIK_BOOTSTRAP_PASSWORD from the .env file.
  3. Enrol a second factor: a TOTP app. It is mandatory from the first sign-in; there is no way around it.

If the installer created a private authority, browsers must trust it first: see TLS certificate.

Install the licence

Until a licence is installed, sign-in works, but every data page says the licence is missing. Send the instance id to CyberAar, then install the key you receive: see Licence.

Create your team’s accounts

Then create your team’s accounts in AarView (Admin > Users). Each new account gets a single-use link to set its password, and the first visit enrols its second factor.

Then stop using akadmin for daily work: it is the identity provider’s administrator.
